One of Venice's most famous and appreciated dishes. This plate was known since the romans who cooked the meat with figs to cover the strong taste of liver. Venetians than changed the figs to onions and created this sublime dish.

Walking from the train station, turn right out of the station towards Calatrava Bridge which you cross and you will be in Piazzale Roma. From here keep your left and walk along “Fondamenta dei 3 Ponti”. Cross the 3 bridges and at the forth one, which is in iron, do not cross. Turn left in Fondamenta dei Cereri. Cross the 2nd bridge on your left (ponte dei Guardiani). You will be in Calle dei Guardiani. At the end of the street turn right in Fondamenta Briati. After aprox. 200 meters cross the bridge on your left and straight ahead you will see us in Campo dell'Anzolo Rafael.
Exit at Ca’ Rezzonico, make a quick left and then a right turn into Calle Lunga San Barnaba. Walk to the end of the street (passing the campo on your right). Cross the San Sebastian bridge and walk around the back of the church. You will find us past the church on your left just past the corner where our shop is located. (5-10 minutes from the vaporetto stop).
Exit at Zattere and turn left. Walk straight along the Fondamenta Zattere until you reach the San Basilio vaporetto stop, from here follow the indications below.
Exit at San Basilio, and walk straight down the street in front of the stop (Calle del Vento). Cross the small square, keeping to the left. Cross the second bridge on your left where you will be facing the San Sebastian Church. Walk around toward the back of the church and just past the corner where our shop is located you will find our restaurant (5 minutes from the vaporetto stop).
