Pane Vino e San Daniele opened in September 2004. It is located in the magical Campo dell’Anzolo Rafael made famous by the novelist Sally Vickers in her book, Miss Garnet’s Angel. This historical trattoria was a famous meeting point for artists during the heyday of the 1960’s. Today, it has become a popular location for teachers and researchers from the nearby universities. Since its re-opening, the new management has brought together a new, young energy combined with a warm, pleasant atmosphere of course, good food. Here, you can taste traditional homemade Friulian specialties, our array of excellent wines and of course, our excellent San Daniele prosciutto.
